A Town Divided

Candles out
but were never torched.
The houses sit empty of delight.
No one can move on,
from the silence.

Kings from afar try to come
and create lively relations.
But the darkness was too much
no one could handle.

The sun shy of its greeting
and cold welcomes its sleek arms.
It’s never the same summer,
unlike its winter.

A soon to extinct nation
rallies up its last joys.
For what starts as a silent scoff
Turns a town divided.
into a non-existent solid.
