As quiet as I can be

always riding shotgun

never the driver.

Always second,

never number one,

always forgotten,

never in your heart.

Yet, I am not disappointed

For I have a bigger role.

I’m always at the advantage.

The driver is protected by me.

First is worst, second is best.

Never remembered for my faults.

Yes being quiet is the life to live.

You are the one with the gun.
